Florio winery

A journey through the history of the Florio family, which has been the protagonist of Sicily for several years: an opportunity to visit the evocative Florio cellars, rich in history, concluding with the tasting of three varieties of Marsala.

Not just a wine experience, what we propose is a real itinerary to discover the history of one of the families who wrote a piece of Sicily's history: the Florio family. The experience includes a guided tour inside the wonderful Florio cellars where every barrel tells a story, every perceived perfume tells a detail, every corner of the cellar tells Sicily, from the arrival of Garibaldi and the landing of the Thousand to the history of the Florio family. The wine experience will obviously end with the tasting of three different types of Marsala, a symbolic wine of the city of Marsala as well as Sicily, with a particular focus on the way in which the flavor can change based on the combinations.
