We’ll sail along the Maremma Coast, enjoying views from the sea of:
Castiglione della Pescaia
Le Rocchette
Punta Ala
The islets of Sparviero, Porcellini, and Cerboli
The Piombino Promontory

Day Schedule

8:15 AM – Boarding at the port of Castiglione della Pescaia
8:30 AM – Departure! The crossing takes about 1h40

Around 10:15 AM – Arrival and disembarkation at Portoferraio. During the journey, optional guided tours can be booked to explore the island

Stop in Portoferraio: Free time for personal visits or guided tours
Those who wish to have lunch onboard can ask the crew for the menu of the day (Lunch is optional and not included)

2:00 - 2:30 PM – Departure for Porto Azzurro
Approx. 2-hour stop in Porto Azzurro for free exploration or guided tour

5:00 PM – Departure from Porto Azzurro to return to Castiglione della Pescaia. The trip takes about 1h40
7:00 PM – Arrival at the port

What to see in Portoferraio (stop from 10:15 AM to 2:00 PM)

Napoleon's Legacy
Portoferraio is closely linked to Napoleon Bonaparte, who lived in exile here in 1814. Must-see sites include:
Villa dei Mulini – Napoleon’s official residence, with period furnishings and a beautiful garden overlooking the sea
Villa San Martino – The emperor’s summer residence, set in nature

Medici Fortresses
This town was once an impenetrable fortress! Walking through its streets, you’ll spot ancient walls and forts:
Forte Stella – With a breathtaking view of the port
Forte Falcone – The highest point in town, offering panoramic views of Elba
Forte Inglese – Built to defend against naval attacks

Beaches & Relaxation
If you prefer a dip in crystal-clear waters, head to:
Le Ghiaie Beach – Near the center, with clear water and a seabed teeming with fish
Capo Bianco Beach – One of the most scenic, with dramatic white cliffs plunging into the sea

Shopping & Tasting

Porto Azzurro is one of Elba’s most picturesque villages, with a charming seafront, historic fortresses, and vibrant town life.

San Giacomo Fortress & Porto Azzurro Prison 
A grand fortress built by the Spanish in 1603, now used as a prison. You can admire its imposing structure and strategic position from the outside

Sanctuary of the Madonna of Monserrato
A small sanctuary nestled in nature, founded in 1606 by the Spanish. Perfect for a panoramic walk and a moment of peace

Seafront promenade
Stroll along Porto Azzurro’s waterfront lined with bars, restaurants, and shops selling local crafts and specialties

Spiaggia della Rossa Beach
Looking to relax in the sun? This beach is just a few steps from the center—ideal for a quick swim or sunbathing
