After just a few steps, you'll reach Pieve di Santa Maria, famous for its unique Romanesque façade with its many columns. Walking around the back offers some iconic views. Through the narrow streets of the historic center, you'll reach the heart of the city, Piazza Grande, with its unmistakable and scenic sloping shape and home to the Giostra del Saracino (Saracen Joust). Stop to admire the beauty of its medieval buildings, and by moving to the side, you'll reach the Loggia Vasari, which offers a unique 360-degree view of the square. From the square, take Corso Italia for a pleasant stroll among shops and bars where you can soak up the local atmosphere. After a short climb, you'll reach Arezzo Cathedral, where you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view of the city. The cathedral is renowned for its stained-glass windows and bright interior.
