What we propose is a unique experience in what could be the "safari" of the Madonie. We will leave by jeep and follow the paths that lead to the Sanctuary of Madonna dell'Alto, the highest Marian shrine in Europe, located on top of Monte Alto at 1820mt s.l.m. From there you can enjoy a breathtaking view from which to see all of Sicily, You can even see the Etna if we are lucky. You will also be able to learn about the history, art and legends related to this place and sanctuary. We will tell you about the pilgrimage that is carried out every year to the Sanctuary and we will allow you to enter it and know the welcome of pilgrims inside, where they find shelter thanks to the guardians of the Shrine. It will also be possible to have lunch like real pilgrims, thanks to the cuisine of the elderly local women who offer their love in cooking meals energizing and rich in local gastronomic culture. An experience not to be missed especially if you are lovers of adventure and curious connoisseurs of unique and breathtaking places.
