Commissioned by Pope Gregory XVI in the 19th century, the Villa is an extraordinary park: hidden trails, Roman ruins wrapped in vegetation, mysterious caves, and above all the thunderous majesty of the Great Waterfall of the Aniene River. Here Tivoli reveals its most spectacular side, offering dramatic views and secret corners that seem created for the perfect shot.
To enrich the experience, a professional photographer will accompany the group, guiding participants — even those with only basic or intermediate knowledge of photography — through a journey that blends theory and practice. After a short introductory session on the fundamentals of photography, Villa Gregoriana itself will become an open-air workshop: waterfalls, gorges, plays of light and unique perspectives will be the living stage for experimentation.
