This tour allows you to discover a center of excellence for the production of the highest-quality Florentine fabrics, the Antico Setificio Fiorentino, in the heart of Borgo San Frediano. It's more than just a textile manufacturing facility; it's also a place where you can enjoy unique experiences exploring luxury craftsmanship, immersed in the incredible world of silk. With this guided tour, we offer a journey through the history and various stages of production. The experience also includes a tour of the showroom, where you'll be shown the fabrics and some of the most interesting pieces created in recent years. The guided tour can also be enhanced with a special experience where you can learn how to use a small 17th-century manual loom for fringe, or how to make a potpourri bag and tie the drawstring. The experience that makes this visit even more unique and unforgettable is the chance to become a weaver for a day, working on an antique 18th-century loom designed by Leonardo da Vinci. Visiting the Antico Setificio Fiorentino represents a leap into the past and into the Renaissance history of Florence.

Cancellations between 48 and 24 hours before the booked event incur a penalty of 50% of the

paid amount, while cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows incur a penalty of

100%.
