Discover the unique and unmistakable beauty of the Val d'Orcia with a private tour in an air-conditioned van, accompanied by our expert English-speaking driver. This tour allows you to savor the authenticity of the Tuscan countryside through iconic landscapes, with long expanses of green meadows, rolling cultivated hills, long rows of cypress trees, romantic dirt roads, and the slow pace of life marked by nature and its changing seasons. The authentic flavors of this part of Tuscany will be explored with a visit to a renowned estate, where we'll explore the estate and cellars, culminating in a rich tasting of wines and typical local products. We'll then move on to Pienza, in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, considered one of the area's most renowned centers for art, culture, and typical local products, first and foremost its Pecorino di Pienza. Aged in barriques, it is a hard cheese made from sheep's milk, rennet, salt, and lactic acid bacteria. We'll visit a farm, where, alongside expert staff, we'll observe a variety of farmyard animals. We'll then move on to the dairy to witness the processing and production of this exquisite food. We'll then finish with a cheese tasting featuring unique pairings of local products.
