Established in 1989, the Park is home to the Madonie mountain range, stretching between the Imera and Pollina rivers along the island’s northern coast, as well as Pizzo Carbonara, which at 1,979 meters is the second-highest peak in Sicily after Mount Etna.

All this and much more awaits you in the Madonie Park area, where you can explore trails of varying difficulty, from gentle paths to steeper routes with different elevation gains — the choice is yours! Our certified AIGAE nature guides will tailor the experience to suit your needs, from challenging treks to relaxing nature walks, designing routes based on your hiking level and preferences.

Along the way, you will discover the park’s rich history, diverse flora and fauna, and its unique endemic species, in a breathtaking natural setting that is sure to leave you amazed.
