Saffron harvesting experience, including the full process: flower picking, petal cleaning, and drying.
Preparation of a traditional dish using local products.

The Country Experience in Castelbuono is an authentic immersion into the Sicilian countryside, in the heart of the Madonie area. This experience allows visitors to discover local rural traditions up close, exploring ancient farming techniques, typical products, and the region’s rich gastronomic culture.The day takes place in the countryside, surrounded by nature, where guests can stroll among olive groves and vineyards, learn about traditional artisanal production processes, and take part in tastings of local specialties. The experience often includes a lunch prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Beyond the culinary aspect, the Country Experience offers direct contact with the landscape and the relaxing atmosphere of the countryside, creating a moment of conviviality and discovery of Sicily’s most authentic roots. It is ideal for those who wish to enjoy a genuine experience, away from crowded tourist routes, immersed in nature, flavors, and tradition.

Upon request, a transfer service is available from Cefalù or Palermo to make the experience even more comfortable and worry-free.
