Our qualified English-speaking driver will take you in an air-conditioned van, departing comfortably from your hotel, to the city center. You'll embark, accompanied by our local guide, on a fascinating walking tour to discover the iconic sites associated with the Calcio Storico Fiorentino. This walk will begin in Piazza Santa Maria Novella, the starting point of the historical parade where participants in Renaissance costume gather and home to the Rione dei Rossi, one of the four teams competing for the trophy. We'll then reach the scenic Piazza della Signoria, where the historical parade passes, where you can admire Palazzo Vecchio and the Loggia dei Lanzi. Continuing along the Oltrarno, crossing the Ponte Vecchio, we'll reach the Bianchi neighborhood of Santo Spirito, a popular and authentic neighborhood. Through the characteristic streets of the historic center, we'll arrive in Piazza Duomo, home to the Verdi di San Giovanni football team, where you can admire the Baptistery, the Duomo, the Dome, and the Bell Tower. The tour will end in the evocative Piazza Santa Croce, home of the Azzurri and the heart of historic football, the true sand battlefield, a symbol of the game's combativeness, where the three matches, two semi-finals, and the final on June 24th, the feast of the patron saint, San Giovanni, are played.
