With our qualified English-speaking driver, you'll travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned van to the medieval town of Volterra. Explore its charming historic center, including Piazza dei Priori, the Cathedral, and the Baptistery. Stroll through its Etruscan gates and admire its historic walls, all the way to the Roman theater and acropolis. The day will continue with a visit to an artisan workshop where we'll witness the working of alabaster, a precious mineral more ductile than marble and known as the stone of light.
